Documents of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Congress demonstrate vision and development aspirations

The 1st Congress of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, will take place over 2 days, from October 4 - 5, at the Provincial Cultural and Cinema Center Hall.

The Congress convened 449 official delegates, including 60 ex-officio delegates and 389 appointed delegates distributed to Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee.

At the press conference, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee Truong An Ninh, representative of the Congress Propaganda Subcommittee, informed the main contents of the Congress. Accordingly, the theme of the Congress is "Building a clean and strong Party organization and political system; promoting the strength of great national unity and development aspirations; mobilizing and effectively using all resources; innovation, digital transformation; striving to make Quang Tri a new growth pole in the Central region", with the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development".

In terms of development perspectives, the Congress identified Party building as the “key” in all aspects of politics, ideology, ethics, organization, and cadres. Strengthening the close relationship between Party committees and authorities with the people, serving the people; promoting democracy; strengthening control of power; resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption, waste, and negativity. Continuing to perfect and operate the organization of the political system and local governments at two levels effectively, efficiently, and effectively, improving the quality of service to the people.

The four pillars of development are also specified as “Energy - Logistics - Tourism - Green Agriculture”. Effectively exploiting the potential and advantages of geographical location, natural resources of forests and seas to link development with neighboring localities. Science, technology, innovation and digital transformation are the top important breakthroughs, the main driving force towards the goal of economic growth, solving national goals. Actively attracting external resources combined with promoting internal resources, creating favorable opportunities for people and businesses to access development resources.

Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Truong An Ninh also informed that during the process of drafting, the draft documents of the Congress absorbed and concretized the guiding viewpoints, policies and major orientations of the Party and State leaders at the working sessions with the two localities of Quang Binh (old) and Quang Tri (old), the key and core contents in the draft documents of the 14th Party Congress and the breakthrough resolutions of the 13th Politburo, thereby demonstrating the vision and aspirations for development.

"The Congress is an opportunity to continue affirming the will, belief, and aspiration for development, and to encourage the entire Party, people, and army to be determined to successfully realize the goal of building Quang Tri province into a new growth pole in the Central region," affirmed Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Truong An Ninh.
