The above prices remain unchanged from last weekend, and are also the highest prices for 9999 gold rings ever.

The price of SJC gold bars this morning was also listed by SJC Company, PNJ, and Doji Group unchanged compared to the end of last week, at 81.5 million VND/tael for buying and 83.5 million VND/tael for selling.

The selling price of SJC gold at 4 State Commercial Banks ( Agribank , BIDV, Vietcombank and Vietinbank) is also at 83.5 million VND/tael.

In the world gold market, the spot gold price on Kitco floor on the morning of September 30 was 2,653.2 USD/ounce, continuing to decrease by nearly 5 USD compared to the closing price of the previous weekend in New York. This price after conversion is equivalent to 79.15 million VND/tael, lower than SJC gold by about 4.35 million VND/tael and lower than 9999 gold ring by about 4.29 million VND/tael.

Responding to the increase in gold prices, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) said that recently, the world gold price has continuously increased, causing the domestic gold price to increase accordingly. SBV has coordinated with ministries, branches and localities to deploy a series of solutions to handle the high gold price difference, stabilize the gold market, and contribute to stabilizing the macro economy. Among them, there is a solution to organize bidding and sell gold bars directly to supplement the supply of SJC gold bars to the market. After the SBV's gold management solutions, the current price difference between SJC gold bars and gold rings with the world is about 4-5 million VND/tael. This agency also said that it will organize a summary and propose to soon amend Decree 24, including the content on gold bar production management to complete the legal framework for managing gold trading activities, in accordance with the practical situation.

World gold prices have continued to cool down after reaching a peak last week despite the market receiving positive inflation data. Specifically, a report from the US Department of Commerce showed that the personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index - the inflation measure favored by the US Federal Reserve (FED) - increased by 0.1% in August, in line with the forecast of economists in a survey by Dow Jones news agency. Compared to the same period last year, PCE increased by 2.2%, lower than the forecast of 2.3%. With this data, the FED can continue to cut interest rates. However, world gold prices still turned down as many investors realized profits at record prices.
