(Fatherland) - On March 13, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vinh Phuc province organized the opening ceremony of the Spring Tourism Festival 2025 with the theme "Vinh Phuc - Convergence of Spring Colors" and launched the 2025 Tourism Stimulus Program with the message "Vietnam - Travel to Love".
The program was held at Tay Thien Cultural and Festival Center, Tam Dao District. This is the opening event in a series of events of the province with the determination to build Vinh Phuc into a safe, friendly and attractive destination. Implementing the Government 's policy, the guidance of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on implementing Resolution No. 11/NQ-CP on visa exemption for citizens of some countries under the Tourism Development Stimulus Program in 2025 and Resolution No. 25/NQ-CP dated February 5, 2025 of the Government on the growth target of industries, fields and localities, improving the quality of tourist services, increasing the attraction of domestic and international visitors to Vinh Phuc in 2025.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of Vinh Phuc Spring Tourism Festival, Mr. Ngo Chi Tue, Director of Vinh Phuc Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that this is an annual event to preserve and promote the value of Vinh Phuc's cultural heritage, contributing to enhancing the love for nature, country, culture and people of Vinh Phuc; building and promoting the image of Vinh Phuc's scenic spots to tourists. From there, attract more investment, including resources from the state budget and other social resources, improve tourism infrastructure and facilities; gradually improve the quality of management, exploitation and promote promotional activities, introduce this tourist destination more widely, systematically and effectively.
At this event, Vinh Phuc hopes to continue to receive the attention, guidance and support of the Central Ministries and branches, especially the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the National Tourism Administration, the cooperation of provinces, organizations and individuals; especially the response of tourism service businesses and the support of press agencies to strongly spread the image and message of Vinh Phuc tourism to a large number of domestic and international tourists. Thereby, contributing to the locality in achieving the goal of welcoming over 11 million tourists, including more than 40,000 international visitors, with total revenue from tourists reaching nearly 4,000 billion VND in 2025.

Over the years, tourism has been affirming its position as a key economic sector of the country. However, due to the influence of many factors, the tourism industry still faces many difficulties, especially the problem of attracting domestic and foreign tourists. The 2025 tourism stimulus program of Vinh Phuc province was born with the desire to stimulate tourism demand, create conditions for tourists to access many attractive destinations at reasonable costs, and at the same time promote tourism businesses to recover and develop more strongly. The program will focus on key activities such as: Support for entrance ticket prices, discounts on accommodation, food and beverage, and transportation services. Introduce new tourist routes and unique destinations with regional cultural identity. Promote the application of digital technology in tourism promotion, helping tourists easily access information. Encourage the participation of the business community, restaurants, hotels, and travel agencies to jointly bring the best experiences to tourists.

At this spring festival, people and tourists will be able to visit the exhibition space introducing the cultural and tourism nuances of Vinh Phuc; introducing Tay Thien - Past and Present; Tay Thien Mother Goddess Worship, etc. Experience many cultural and artistic activities, sports competitions such as: singing festival, Chau Van singing; cultural exchange and traditional Ao Dai performance; cycling, volleyball tournament. In addition, there are other activities such as tug of war, chess; Chung cake, Day cake, Gio cake making contest; youth camp; trade - tourism fair displaying booths introducing and promoting OCOP products typical of ethnic groups in Tam Dao district, Vinh Phuc province.
