Vinh Xuong had a raft capsize incident.

On July 25, at group 6, Vinh Thanh D hamlet, Vinh Xuong commune (An Giang province), a raft capsized at the house of Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung, a near-poor household.

Upon receiving the news from the people, the People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, the police and military forces, the hamlet people's committee, and local people promptly arrived at the scene to assist the family in moving assets and necessary items to a safe place.

Through actual survey, the raft house has an area of ​​10m long and 4m wide. The raft house is currently in a degraded and unstable state and is moored on the North Tan An canal bank.

At the time of the incident, Ms. Dung was selling lottery tickets. Her three children were left at their mother's house. Luckily, there were no casualties.

The raft house suffered about 70% damage, a boat was broken in half, and many fishing tools were severely damaged...

The local authorities supported Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Dung to temporarily move back to live with her biological mother, waiting for a stable and safe place to live.

Local authorities visited, encouraged and supported the family with 3 million VND.
