Accordingly, the Central Highlands General Hospital invites patients to the hospital to check their current health status to detect early urinary system diseases (if any) for monitoring and timely treatment.
The health check-up period is from September 24 to October 3, at the Examination Department, Tay Nguyen General Hospital. All these patients will be completely exempted from the cost of examination and paraclinical services related to the urinary system and related arising problems.

Previously, on September 20, the Dak Lak Department of Health sent a report to the Ministry of Health about the case of the lithotripsy machine of the Central Highlands General Hospital being broken but still declaring lithotripsy for patients. In particular, the Department of Health continued to request the hospital to review medical records, record the medical condition and treatment methods for patients who were not given laser lithotripsy during the machine breakdown period.
At the same time, the Department of Health also assigned 3 other hospitals, including Phu Yen Provincial General Hospital, Thien Hanh Hospital and Buon Ma Thuot University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, to send specialist doctors to participate in screening examinations to ensure objectivity.
As reported by SGGP Newspaper, the working group of the Dak Lak Department of Health inspected and discovered that the lithotripsy machine at the Central Highlands General Hospital had been broken since the end of 2023 and had not been repaired. However, during this time, hundreds of laser lithotripsy cases were performed here.
