The case of a teacher coming to a student's house to slap him: The teacher is a calm and exemplary person.

(Dan Tri) - The teacher who repeatedly slapped a male student in the face in Thanh Hoa was considered a calm and exemplary person. Just because in a moment of anger, he acted out of control and slapped the male student in the face.

On the afternoon of August 21, Mr. Nguyen Van Tinh, Principal of Vinh Loc High School (Vinh Loc commune, Thanh Hoa province), said that the male student who was slapped in the face by Mr. VXT, an English teacher, had been discharged from the hospital and returned home for treatment.

According to Mr. Tinh, the school continued to allow teacher VXT to temporarily suspend his professional work to coordinate with the family to take care of the male student.

According to Mr. Tinh, the school will hold a disciplinary council meeting after receiving official conclusions from the authorities.

The principal also informed that Mr. T. and the male student were related. When the male student was in 3rd grade, Mr. T. had spent time tutoring and teaching him.

During his work, Mr. T. was considered a calm and quiet person. “In his interactions with colleagues, parents and students, he never raised his voice. Even when students violated the law, he did not speak harshly,” Mr. Tinh shared.

The principal also said that after the incident, Mr. T. wrote a report. Accordingly, because the male student told his friends that Mr. T.'s teaching was difficult to understand, the principal thought that because of their close relationship, the male student had used inappropriate words. In a fit of anger, the principal went to the student's house and acted impulsively, slapping him in the face.

“At school, Mr. T. was a role model. This is a very unfortunate incident, everyone was surprised to hear the news. We hope that the child will recover soon and hope that the authorities will take appropriate measures to serve as a deterrent,” said Mr. Tinh.

Previously, as Dan Tri reported, a clip appeared on social media recording a man riding a motorbike to a resident's house and slapping a student in the face multiple times.

Through verification, the incident happened in Tay Do commune. The man in the clip is a teacher working at Vinh Loc High School, related to the male student who was slapped.

The initial cause is believed to be due to the male student having spoken inappropriately to the teacher earlier.

After the incident, teacher T. wrote a report and self-criticism. He and his family took the student to Hanoi for a medical examination, then returned to Thanh Hoa Children's Hospital for further treatment.
