The conference aims to assess the actual training of units in the entire Region; improve the overall quality, level of command organization, management, and coordination of operations of cadres at all levels and the capacity to exploit and use technical equipment of officers and soldiers in the entire unit. Thereby, continue to adjust and supplement combat readiness plans and operational plans, ensuring that they are suitable to the practical situation and specific conditions of the Regional Command and agencies and units, meeting the requirements of the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland in the new situation, especially in the context of a short preparation time.

Colonel Vu Dinh Hien, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Region 3, spoke at the conference.

The test content was led, directed and comprehensively deployed by the Command of Region 3; focusing on practicing tactical training, handling proposed hypothetical situations; practicing combat deployment tables; practicing live firing of various types of guns and artillery in service.

Evaluating the results, Colonel Vu Dinh Hien emphasized: The agencies and units have done a good job of preparation; focused on preparing documents, materials, training ship and industry officers; closely coordinated work between ship forces, shore missiles, radar, ensuring smoothness; organized live-fire exercises of ship and shore forces with 100% good and excellent results, completed the content and program well according to plan, achieved the set goals and requirements, and ensured absolute safety. At the same time, the Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Region requested the agencies and units to draw experience, propose measures to lead, direct, and improve the quality of combat training of their units in the coming time.
