Measuring heart rate, checking indexes, and caringly asking about patients... are the jobs that Dr. Cuong has been doing for over 30 years, but he has never allowed himself to be subjective or ignore any unusual symptoms. For him, the health and life of the patient are always placed in the highest position. It is the meticulousness and comprehensiveness in examination, combined with knowledge and practical experience that helps him promptly come up with effective treatment regimens, helping many people recover quickly.

Doctor Cuong once shared that during the peak days of fighting the Covid-19 epidemic, when he saved patients and saw them return to health and thank them, he was truly moved and had more motivation to continue practicing, improving his skills, and better fulfilling the duties of a military doctor.

Graduated from the Military Medical Academy in 1993, working at Military Hospital 120, from the initial affection for the profession, the more attached he is, the more clearly he sees the responsibility to study and improve his qualifications to respond to the trust and desire to live of the patients.

In his journey of dedication, the Department of Nephrology and Dialysis is where he has devoted the most effort. From the early days with only 6 nurses and 2 doctors, up to now, after 14 years of persistent construction, the department has become a strong unit with 6 doctors, more than 30 nurses with high professional qualifications; 59 modern artificial kidney dialysis machines are regularly treating more than 400 patients with end-stage renal failure. Many patients have recovered after treatment, returned to their daily lives and always expressed gratitude to the "angels in white" here.

In any position, Dr. Cuong is steadfast in his ideal of "improving medical skills and practicing medical ethics". As Deputy Director in charge of Planning and Synthesis and directing the professional departments of Kidney-Dialysis, Emergency Resuscitation, he and his team of staff, physicians and doctors constantly apply scientific and technical advances in management, organization and professional work, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, so that Military Hospital 120 truly becomes a trusted address for soldiers and people in the southwestern provinces. In his managerial role, he always upholds the motto of "devotion, thoughtfulness, safety, efficiency", being exemplary in work, directing his teammates to take care of patients with all responsibility and love, taking the joy of patients as a motivation to continue studying, researching and improving qualifications.

After more than 30 years of hard work, Dr. Le Manh Cuong was awarded the Third Class Labor Medal by the State in 2021 along with many certificates of merit. But the most valuable reward for him is the trust of patients, the trust of leaders and colleagues. For him, Military Hospital 120 has long been a second home, where he always wishes to continue to contribute more to the cause of caring for and protecting the health of soldiers and people in the beautiful land of nine dragons.
