Bac Ha Commune: Opening of the Festival "Intoxicated by Autumn" in 2025

Celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), on the evening of August 30, at the Bac Ha Night Market stage, the People's Committee of Bac Ha commune, Lao Cai province held the opening ceremony of the "Autumn Festival" 2025 with a series of unique cultural and tourism activities.

At the opening ceremony of the “Autumn Festival”, Ms. Pham Thi Non, Vice Chairwoman of the People’s Committee of Bac Ha Commune, emphasized that, in addition to cultural and sports activities, the goal of the event is to honor traditions, educate patriotism and arouse national pride; at the same time, promote the resources and unique tourism products of the locality to attract domestic and foreign tourists, thereby creating a breakthrough in sustainable socio -economic development for the locality.

After the opening ceremony, the art program "Colors of the plateau - Convergence of identity", combined with the performance of ethnic costumes in Bac Ha commune, brought deep and unforgettable impressions to the people and tourists.

As part of the "Autumn Intoxication" Festival taking place from August 29 to September 2, 2025, visitors to Bac Ha will be able to participate in a 10km run, make traditional green rice flakes, compete in making sticky rice cakes, and admire the beeswax painting art of the Mong people at Hoang A Tuong Palace, along with many other cultural activities.

Coming to Bac Ha commune on this occasion, visitors will fully experience the life and culture of the highlands.

In particular, at the Bac Ha Cultural Market stage, for 2 nights (August 31 - September 1), visitors will experience a vibrant festival atmosphere with ethnic cultural performances such as: solidarity xoe circle, then rhythm - tinh lute, Mong panpipe dance and cozy campfire night. These activities are part of the "Thu Nghieng Say Festival", a series of events lasting from August 30 to September 2 in Bac Ha, Lao Cai , promising to bring visitors a memorable National Day holiday.
