Krong Nang Commune: Focus on building programs and plans for socio-economic development according to growth targets

On the morning of September 15, Working Group No. 1 of the National Assembly Delegation of the province, led by Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the delegation, in charge of the National Assembly Delegation of the province Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet, had a meeting to survey the operation of the two-level government after the merger and implement the socio-economic development plan for 2025 with the growth target of 8% or more in Krong Nang commune.

Krong Nang commune was established on the basis of merging Krong Nang town, Ea Ho commune and Phu Loc commune with a total natural area of ​​98.34 km²; the population of the commune is 9,505 households with 43,678 people; the whole commune has 40 villages, hamlets, 18 ethnic groups living together, of which local ethnic minorities account for about 30.8%...

After the merger, the commune government has urgently completed the organizational structure, arranged and assigned cadres and civil servants in accordance with their expertise, ensuring smooth operations. The reception and settlement of administrative procedures have been shortened, the work settlement process has gradually become more transparent and clearer, thereby helping to reduce time and costs for people and businesses; the system of documents and administrative reform procedures has been regularly updated, facilitating the reception and settlement of records; people and businesses have high consensus and support for the arrangement and consolidation of administrative units...

After more than 2 months of operation, the commune has received over 2,269 administrative records, with a high rate of on-time settlement (2,075 records)...

The socio -economic, defense and security situation in the commune is basically stable; service and production activities maintain growth momentum; social security is guaranteed; creating a solid foundation for the implementation of the growth target for the whole year. The locality has also concretized Resolution No. 192/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly with programs and work plans to complete the growth target of 8% or more this year.

The People's Committee of Krong Nang commune also proposed and recommended a number of contents such as: promptly reviewing, adjusting and supplementing funding for expenditure tasks, especially capital for development investment expenditure so that the commune has a basis to implement infrastructure projects, promote economic growth; continue to pay attention to and provide guidance on financial - budgetary operations and other professional activities for the commune staff; increase the staffing for the commune-level state sector because of the large workload; decentralize and clearly assign specific responsibilities and authorities to each professional department to better coordinate in solving problems for citizens...

Concluding the survey, Deputy Head of the delegation, in charge of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Nguyen Thi Thu Nguyet acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and sense of responsibility of the Party Committee and government of Krong Nang commune in quickly stabilizing the organization and putting the post-merger apparatus into effective operation.

The head of the survey team suggested that the locality continue to pay attention to promoting administrative reform, digital transformation, and digital technology in performing tasks; closely follow legal regulations in the process of performing public duties; clearly assign tasks and tasks appropriately to each cadre and civil servant of the commune.
