Long Chu Commune: Giving gifts to students in border areas

On the morning of July 15, the Women's Union coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Long Chu commune, Tay Ninh province, to organize a gift giving ceremony for students in difficult circumstances in the commune.

Long Chu Commune Women's Union implements the godmother program for 2 students

The delegation presented 75 cartons of milk and 85 gifts to 85 disadvantaged students of Giong Nan Primary School, Long Chu Commune; the total value of the gifts was over 30 million VND sponsored by Da Lat Milk Joint Stock Company.

On this occasion, the Women's Union of Long Chu commune implemented a godmother program for 2 orphaned students (1 9th grade student orphaned by mother due to Covid-19 and 1 4th grade student orphaned by father).

The program aims to motivate and encourage students to excel in their studies, thereby promoting the role of associations and unions after the merger of two-level local governments./.
