M'Drak commune held a memorial service and buried the remains of martyrs.

On the afternoon of August 11, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of M'Drắk commune held a memorial service and buried the remains of martyrs at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Cu M'ta commune.

From the information provided by the people, after a period of survey and understanding, Team K51 ( Political Department, Provincial Military Command) together with the Party Committee, the government of M'Drắk commune and the people in the area organized a search and collected 1 martyr's grave (information not yet determined) in residential group 5 on August 9.

Representatives of units and localities saw off martyrs to their final resting place.

During the excavation, the authorities discovered many pieces of bones, cloth, army shoe soles, pioneer plastic sandals, tanks, communication wires, parachute cords, bullet casings and ammunition boxes...

Through the relics found, the force determined that this was a martyr who died in the resistance war against America to save the country.

The martyrs' remains were buried at the Martyrs' Cemetery of Cu M'ta commune.

At the memorial service, Chairman of the People's Committee of M'Drak commune Nguyen Duc Thao expressed his deep gratitude to the relatives of the martyrs who gave birth to and dedicated to the Fatherland these outstanding people; affirmed that the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune, armed forces and people of all ethnic groups in M'Drak commune will continue to effectively implement policies for people with meritorious services, activities to repay gratitude, promote the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source"...
