Of which: 10 households suffered from landslides that caused cracks, broken walls, broken house pillars and had to be urgently evacuated, most of them were poor households or households that had just escaped poverty; concrete roads into the village and the main road were eroded at 29 points; 15m of the inner-field canal was damaged; 60m of the surrounding wall of Tien Yen Kindergarten was cracked and collapsed; 2 0.4kV electric poles in Son Nam village were collapsed; the middle pillar of Buong village bridge was broken and exposed; the concrete road in Nghe village was broken; nearly 3 hectares of corn and peanuts were swept away by floodwaters.

Immediately after the flood, the leaders of Tien Yen Commune People's Committee directed specialized departments to review, compile statistics, assess the situation and mobilize forces to support households according to the "4 on-site" motto. In the face of complicated weather developments, the commune has increased propaganda work, put up warning signs, and reviewed high-risk landslide locations, to avoid being passive and surprised in responding to natural disasters.
