The 2025 Women's Futsal World Cup will take place in the Philippines from November 21 to December 7. As the host, the Philippine women's futsal team is seeded first in Group A. However, this still cannot help the representative of Southeast Asian women's futsal avoid a rather difficult group.

In addition to the Philippines, Group A also includes Poland, Morocco and especially the South American team Argentina. Of these, Argentina is currently ranked 6th in the world , Poland is ranked 14th, Morocco is ranked 31st, and the Philippines is only ranked 63rd in the world.
Another representative of Southeast Asian futsal is Thailand (ranked 4th in the world) in group B with Spain (ranked 2nd in the world), Colombia (ranked 8th) and Canada (ranked 74th).
In this group, besides the extremely strong Spain, Thailand still has to be wary of Colombia. Although the South American team has a lower ranking than Thailand, their qualities are better, and Colombia's players' skills are also very good.

Meanwhile, the Iranian women's futsal team (ranked 9th in the world) is in Group D with Brazil (ranked 1st in the world), Italy (ranked 7th) and Panama (ranked 79th).
