By the third set, the French women's team showed signs of fatigue, before losing the set 19-25. In the end, the Brazilian women's volleyball team beat the French women's team 3-0 (27-25, 33-31 and 25-19).

In the other quarterfinal match, Türkiye surprisingly beat the US women's team 3-1 (25-14, 22-25, 25-14 and 25-23). Türkiye won a ticket to the semi-finals.

In the semi-finals, the Brazilian women's volleyball team will face the Italian women's team. This is a very attractive match, between the world's number one team (Italy) and the world's number two team (Brazil).

Meanwhile, the remaining semi-final will be between the Japanese women's volleyball team (world number 4) and the Turkish women's volleyball team. The semi-final matches will take place on the afternoon and evening of September 6 in Thailand.
