Verifying information that a teacher went to a male student's house and slapped him in the face

(Dan Tri) - The authorities of Tay Do commune, Thanh Hoa province have stepped in to verify information about a male student being repeatedly slapped in the face by his teacher.

A clip appeared on Facebook showing a man, believed to be a teacher at Vinh Loc High School (Vinh Loc commune, Thanh Hoa province), driving a motorbike to a student's house and slapping him in the face several times.

Through initial verification, the incident occurred at the home of a male student studying at Pham Van Hinh Secondary School, Tay Do commune, Thanh Hoa province.

On the morning of August 13, the leader of Tay Do Commune People's Committee said that he had received the information and was coordinating to verify and clarify the incident.

According to the commune leader, the incident happened a few days ago, the teacher and the male student are related. The incident stemmed from an inappropriate statement made by the male student towards the teacher.

“We have sent the Principal of Pham Van Hinh Secondary School to visit and encourage the students. At the same time, the local authorities have assigned the relevant agencies to investigate. We have not yet received any complaints from the students’ families,” said the commune leader.
