(NLDO) - Discovering a mother holding her two small children and trying to commit suicide, many people rushed to stop her.

On the afternoon of March 23, a clip went viral on social media, recording a woman holding two small children tightly, standing on the edge of a bridge, intending to jump off. Upon discovering the incident, passersby immediately ran to stop her. However, the woman still held the children tightly in her arms.

With great difficulty, the locals were able to separate the two children. They then encouraged and calmed the man down and took him away from the bridge area to go home.

People prevented a woman who intended to jump off a bridge with her two children

It is known that the incident happened on the morning of March 23 at a bridge bordering two communes: Hung Trung, Hung Nguyen district, Nghe An province and Nghi Dien commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province.

According to the leader of the People's Committee of Hung Trung commune, the woman in the clip is a local resident, and the two children are her children. This woman is married and has four children. Due to her unstable mental state, she has repeatedly made threats like the one above.

According to the leader of Hung Trung commune, the incident showed no signs of domestic violence. After being stopped, the woman and her two children were taken home. Currently, the woman has calmed down.
