Over the past 3 years of organization, the Award has gathered an increasing number of participating authors, not only professional journalists but also non-professional collaborators inside and outside the province, from the Central to local levels, from urban to rural, mountainous, remote and isolated areas, with diverse backgrounds, occupations and educational levels.

The quality of the works participating in the Award has been increasingly improved, diverse in genre, rich in themes, closely following events, discovering and mentioning many new, difficult and urgent issues that have been and are being raised in practice. Thereby, clearly demonstrating the political determination, efforts and important results of Yen Bai province in the work of Party building and the political system, in order to contribute to realizing the goal of building Yen Bai province to develop rapidly and sustainably in the direction of "Green, harmonious, unique and happy", becoming a fairly developed province by 2025 and being in the group of leading developed provinces in the Northern Midlands and Mountains by 2030 according to the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress.
According to the evaluation of the Jury, many works participating in this year's Award closely followed current issues, core contents in Party building work and the local political system. Through 2 rounds of selection, the Organizing Committee selected 19 best works to award; 52 quality works submitted to the Central Award (including: 16 print works, 15 television works, 3 radio works and 18 electronic newspaper works) and 5 collectives with outstanding achievements in the process of launching and implementing the Award at the grassroots level.
At the Award Ceremony, for the first time after 3 years of organization, the Organizing Committee awarded 01 Special Prize to the work "Story from Khuon Bo" by the group of authors Thanh Hoa - Hong Dung - Van Thong, National Assembly Television.
The Organizing Committee awarded 1 A Prize to the work "Yen Bai studying and following Uncle Ho's teachings" by the group of authors: Trung Dung - Nguyen Minh - Anh Tuan, Provincial Radio and Television Station; 3 B Prizes to the works: Yen Bai with the work "Resolutely and persistently fighting against corruption and negativity, contributing to building our Party and State increasingly clean and strong" by author Manh Cuong - Yen Bai Newspaper, "Improving resistance to bad and toxic information on social networks" by author Diem Hang - Provincial Radio and Television Station, the work "Caring for the people - spreading from the leader" by author Duc Toan - Yen Bai Newspaper and awarded 5 C Prizes and 9 Encouragement Prizes to the authors and groups of authors.
