Request to review fire prevention and fighting work

On May 24, Chairman of the People's Council, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hanoi City Nguyen Ngoc Tuan visited and presented support from the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Council of Hanoi City to relatives and victims of the fire in Trung Hoa Ward, Cau Giay District.

Mr. Tuan and the delegation listened to a quick report at the headquarters of the Trung Hoa Ward People's Committee and directly directed the district and ward to focus on overcoming the consequences of the fire. Mr. Tuan requested Cau Giay District to review fire prevention and fighting work in the area, "seriously" implement directive documents related to fire prevention and fighting work such as the City Party Committee's Directive and the City People's Council's Resolution.

According to information from Hanoi City Police, the fire that broke out at 0:46 a.m. on May 24 at No. 1, Alley 31, Lane 98, Lane 43, Trung Kinh Street, Trung Hoa Ward, killed 14 people.
