10 projects need to speed up site clearance in Hai Duong

The project of extending Highway 396 (section from the intersection of Quang Thanh and Thanh Ha bridge approaches with the intersection to Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway) currently has a construction contract that has expired. If the site is not handed over, the contract will have to stop, which will greatly affect the progress of the project and will not meet the disbursement schedule.

According to the Hai Duong Province Construction Investment Project Management Board, among the 10 projects mentioned above, there are 6 key projects that need to promote site clearance to disburse public investment capital and carry out construction and installation, including: Investment project to build the road and Van bridge connecting National Highway 37 (Chi Linh City) with the approach road to Trieu Bridge (Kinh Mon Town); Investment project to build provincial road 394B connecting from Provincial Road 395 to the North - South axis of Thanh Mien District; Investment project to build the road connecting National Highway 17B, Hai Duong Province with Provincial Road 352, Hai Phong City, from National Highway 17B to Kinh Thay River dike (Kinh Mon Town); Upgrade and expand Provincial Road 391 from Hai Duong City to the East - West axis of Hai Duong Province (remaining section); Construction of the traffic route connecting National Highway 17B with Dinh Bridge (Kinh Mon Town); Project of National Highway 37 bypass through Gia Loc town (section connecting Thong Nhat bridge/National Highway 37 with Hai Duong City Ring Road 1).

4 long-term site clearance projects that need to be completed to complete the construction include: The new Cay bridge approach road project and the 33m extended road (through Cam Giang district) connecting Vu Cong Dan road (Hai Duong city); The extended road 396 project (from the intersection of the Quang Thanh bridge approach road with the intersection to the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway); The road project to the Con Son - Kiep Bac special national relic site (half of the left route from An Linh intersection to Dau Rong intersection); The project to renovate and upgrade local dike works in Hai Duong province in the period of 2021-2025.

Localities with projects implemented in the area are actively carrying out site clearance. However, most of the projects are still stuck in land acquisition related to a number of households, leading to unsatisfactory progress, affecting the disbursement of public investment capital according to Plan No. 165/KH-UBND dated January 10, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee.

According to the 2025 public investment disbursement plan scenario of the Provincial People's Committee, in the second quarter, the whole province will disburse 3,418 billion VND or more.

In 2025, the total public investment capital plan of the whole province is 10,452.6 billion VND; striving to disburse 10,421.7 billion VND, reaching 99.7% of the assigned plan.
