140 children participate in "Semester in the Army" in 2025

On the morning of June 15, at the Provincial Youth Cultural House, the Provincial Youth Union, the Provincial Military Command, and the Department of Education and Training jointly organized the "Military Semester" enlistment ceremony for the 2025 children's class.

At the ceremony, delegates and 140 children's soldiers offered incense and laid wreaths at the memorial stele for soldiers marching to the South and offered flowers to report their achievements to Uncle Ho at the Uncle Ho Monument with children of ethnic groups in Dak Lak province.

With the theme "Continuing the story of peace ", the "Military Semester" program for the 2025 children's class took place from June 15 to 19 at Battalion 303 (Hoa Xuan commune, Buon Ma Thuot city).

Representatives of the program's organizing committee presented flowers to the framework officers and coordinators.

The young soldiers will be trained and have practical experience in the military environment, learn about national defense and security, the heroic tradition of the Vietnam People's Army; practice bravery, discipline, military knowledge and military style. At the same time, they will be equipped and nurtured with life skills, social practice skills, and emotional education through group activities, competitions, and performances.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Head of the Steering Committee of the "Semester in the Army" Program in 2025 H Giang Nie emphasized that during this special training period, the students will go through challenging stages in an environment without phones, without televisions, without relatives around, and will eat, live, work and train together in a disciplined military environment.

Through the program, the Organizing Committee hopes to contribute to building a generation of young Vietnamese people who are patriotic, courageous, intelligent, dynamic, creative, and ready and proactive in fulfilling their duty to protect the Fatherland.
