During 8 days, a total of 230 free buses were arranged, of which 130 were in the East of Hai Phong and 100 were in the West of the city, transporting 9,962 people to the Capital to visit the exhibition. This is a remarkable number, showing the positive response of the people of the Port City to this meaningful policy.
Not only stopping at arranging vehicles, the organization work was also carefully and scientifically prepared. 247 officers from departments, branches, and youth union members directly accompanied the buses to support and guide people throughout the journey. In addition, 405 officers and volunteers were on duty at two pick-up points in the East and West of the city, helping to ensure order, safety, and assisting people to get on the bus.
At the exhibition area, the authorities also arranged tour guides and interpreters to welcome and thoroughly introduce the content, helping people have a complete experience and lots of useful information.
According to people's feedback, participating in the free tour by car not only brings joy and convenience, but also creates an opportunity for many people to directly admire the grand scale of a national exhibition for the first time. Especially for many families of policy beneficiaries, war invalids, sick soldiers, the elderly or people with disabilities, this policy is truly humane, as they are given the best conditions to come to the event.
The National Achievements Exhibition with the theme “80 Years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness Journey” in Hanoi is an important highlight in the series of activities to celebrate National Day. Here, hundreds of exhibition booths introduced the country’s development stages, from achievements in politics, economics, culture, society to national defense, security and foreign affairs.
Hai Phong's exhibition area also made a strong impression on visitors, vividly recreating the city's outstanding milestones in the process of construction and development, affirming its role as a central urban area in the Northern coastal region, an important growth pole of the whole country.
After a week, the atmosphere of excitement and joy spread widely among the Hai Phong community. Many opinions acknowledged and appreciated the attention of the city leaders when dedicating resources to deploy charity trips, "carrying" pride, gratitude and community cohesion. This is not only a welfare policy, but also a declaration of the government's companionship with the people, turning policies into concrete and practical actions.
In just 8 short days, tens of thousands of Hai Phong residents have had the opportunity to access and directly experience the great achievements of the country and city over 80 years of construction and growth. Those 0-dong bus trips therefore do not only stop at material value, but also open up a spiritual journey, further strengthening national pride, arousing the will to rise up and affirming the strength of great national unity.
The exhibition “80 years of national achievements” is not only a place to preserve and display the glorious imprints of history, but also a space for generations to look back on the past, affirm their faith in the present and foster their aspirations for the future. The charity buses from Hai Phong have therefore become a bridge to bring people closer to history, achievements and the common aspirations of the nation.
This is a practical activity, demonstrating the city leaders' concern for the spiritual life of the people, while contributing to spreading the meaning of the country's important political and cultural event.
