Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh: The country's achievements are the people's great achievements

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that the National Achievements Exhibition demonstrates the country's outstanding achievements under the talented and wise leadership of our Party, and is also a great achievement of our entire people.

The exhibition of the country's achievements in the 80-year journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness closed on the evening of September 15 at the National Exhibition Fair Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ).

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended and delivered a closing speech at the exhibition.

Great achievements of the people under the leadership of the Party

Speaking at the ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh affirmed that after 19 exciting and emotional days with many activities and events imbued with Vietnamese cultural identity, attracting over 10 million people from all over the country, overseas Vietnamese and international guests, the exhibition "80 years of the journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" was a great success.

All exhibition spaces vividly recreate and honor the heroic revolutionary history and outstanding achievements of the country under the talented and wise leadership of our Party since its founding, especially in the 80 years since gaining national independence, unifying the country, building and defending the Fatherland.

“The exhibition is a comprehensive and profound picture of the great achievements of the revolutionary cause of fighting for national independence associated with building socialism of our Party, State and people through the periods,” the Prime Minister emphasized.

Even the success of this exhibition is thanks to the close leadership and direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat, headed by General Secretary To Lam; and the decisive direction and management of the Government...

At the same time, the Prime Minister affirmed that all exhibition content shows the great achievements of the people through revolutionary periods under the Party's leadership.

“All activities in the exhibition are for the people, serving the people. We are very moved by the smiles, the eyes and even the tears of joy, excitement and pride of the people visiting and enjoying the modern exhibition spaces,” said Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

The exhibition also affirms the meaning and importance of combining national strength with the strength of the times, domestic strength with international strength, and close coordination between the central and local levels, and between the State and the private sector.

“Every image, every artifact, every document and material at the exhibition represents and depicts the wonderful intelligence of Vietnam, the brave, resilient, creative and compassionate Vietnamese people, and the scientific and technological works and projects that put Vietnamese intelligence on par with the world,” Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized.

More than 10 million visitors came to the exhibition, the people's passionate patriotism

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assessed that the exhibition also clearly demonstrated the people's ardent patriotism and steadfast belief in the Party, the State, and the revolutionary cause and innovation of our people.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, the Prime Minister acknowledged, highly appreciated and sincerely thanked the dedication, responsibility, efforts and creativity of ministries, departments, branches, localities, enterprises, scientists, artisans, artists, musicians, music producers, art organizers, volunteers and all comrades and compatriots who joined hands to make the exhibition a great success.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the success of the exhibition is a good start for upcoming major events and national, regional and international music festivals in the future.

“The bright future of Vietnam lies ahead. Let us continue to write the heroic pages of our nation’s history with the spirit of patriotism, pride, confidence, and resilience of the “descendants of Lac Hong”, with the humanity, civilization, culture, and burning desire to reach far and fly high of Vietnamese intelligence”, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent a call to all Vietnamese people.

The exhibition's closing ceremony was followed by an anticipated art program with the participation of famous artists from many generations, from Thanh Hoa, Trong Tan, Dang Duong, Viet Hoan, Buc Tuong group, Tung Duong, Ho Ngoc Ha, Trong Hieu...

The audience got to hear strange versions of some familiar songs such as Pain in the Middle of Peace - singer Tung Duong, Road to Glory sung by the trio Trong Tan - Dang Duong - Viet Hoan...

At the closing ceremony, the Prime Minister awarded certificates of merit to 36 groups and individuals; and the head of the exhibition organizing committee decided to award the “Outstanding Exhibition Space” award to 50 participating units.

Of which, 15 awards are for central departments, ministries, branches and agencies. 15 awards are for provinces and centrally run cities; 20 awards are for outstanding state-owned and private enterprises.
