28.15 points should I study Polytechnic or Pedagogy?

I scored 28.15 points, was admitted early and passed the Computer Science major of Hanoi University of Science and Technology but am leaning more towards Hanoi Pedagogical University.

Hello everyone. I am female, born in 2005, just finished high school graduation exam with score 28.15. I plan to apply with this score to study Mathematics Pedagogy taught in English at Hanoi National University of Education.

I live in the countryside, my parents want me to study pedagogy so that I can return to my hometown and live near them. Working in the field of pedagogy will also give me time to take care of my children, myself, my family and I can have a part-time job.

However, the teachers said it is very difficult to get a teaching position in my province now. I don't know what will happen after I graduate in four years.

I see that many people in other fields such as Engineering and Economics can also teach. Education is a safe field, but there are few options, only teaching, not many directions like other fields.

Before that, I also applied early and was accepted into the Computer Science major at Hanoi University of Science and Technology. I think that pursuing this major requires constant learning and self-improvement, there are many opportunities for development, and it is easy to go abroad, but I have to work overtime, which can easily wear down my health. Moreover, I do not know how old my daughter will be if she pursues IT.

I'm not a good communicator so I'm afraid it will be difficult to follow some fields in the Economic field like Sales, so I can only work in Back Office, which means having to work overtime and work all day with books.

I want to ask everyone if I choose Pedagogy now, what are the future opportunities? Is it easy to find a job?

I plan to pursue Pedagogy in two directions. One is to return to my hometown and apply for a permanent position. If I fail, I will probably apply for a center or open a tutoring class at home (this is difficult to stabilize). The other is to stay in the city and apply for a public, private or international school. If not, I will apply for a tutoring center. I have only thought of the above two paths. I don’t know if they are feasible.
