In recent times, Cam Lo district has actively directed relevant sectors and localities to strengthen propaganda and mobilize households raising livestock in the area to relocate and stop livestock activities in areas where livestock farming is not allowed according to Resolution 160/2021/NQ-HDND, dated December 9, 2021 of the People's Council of Quang Tri province. However, the relocation and termination of livestock activities have encountered many difficulties and there has not been any case of relocation of livestock facilities according to the proposed plan.

According to the report of the District People's Committee, the total number of households raising livestock in unauthorized areas remaining in the district is 39 households, including: 14 households raising buffalo and cows; 18 households raising pigs; 2 households raising deer; 2 households raising swiftlets and 3 households raising mixed livestock .
It is known that these households all agreed on the policy of relocating or ending livestock farming activities in areas where livestock farming is not allowed and have signed a commitment to do so.
However, relocation and termination of livestock farming activities face many difficulties, the reason is that livestock farming households in the area mainly raise livestock on a small scale, have difficult economic conditions, and do not have land to relocate...
