Headache

Thanh Nien newspaper quoted the Express website as saying that according to Dr. Deborah Lee, a clinician working at the UK's National Health Service, the first feeling in the morning can reveal clues about cancer. Dr. Lee explained that brain tumors cause very specific headaches, which are often worse in the morning.

When you lie down all night, the brain can be blocked by the tumor, causing the headache to get worse in the morning. The headache then usually gets better during the day.

According to research published in the journal Neurology, about 77% of brain cancer patients suffer from headaches, characterized by pain around the head, concentrated in the temples or back of the head and neck.

Dr. Lee also noted that although most headaches are not caused by brain tumors, if you experience new symptoms that worry you, you should see a doctor to determine the cause.

Other telltale signs of a brain tumor may include seizures, feeling weak, personality changes, drowsiness, memory loss, numbness and weakness on one side of the body, difficulty speaking, and vision changes.

Bad breath is difficult to understand.

Your mouth smells bad every morning, not related to dental disease and not much better after brushing/rinsing, you should be careful with cancer. Especially when there are strange types of bad smells like rotten apples, bad smells with a metallic smell, rotten fish and shrimp smell, it shows that it can be a common symptom of lung cancer, bronchial cancer, stomach cancer and liver cancer.

Lung cancer causes mucus to build up in the lungs, leading to bad breath due to acid breakdown. Stomach cancer also causes symptoms of reflux, heartburn, and bad breath. Liver cancer causes toxins in the body to not be metabolized normally, increasing the ammonia level in the blood, leading to bad breath.

Stomach-ache

Be careful with recurring abdominal pain for a long time every time you wake up in the morning. It can be caused by tumors of the digestive tract, urinary tract, most obviously stomach cancer and liver cancer.

Symptoms of abdominal pain due to cancer in the morning are often accompanied by abnormal bowel movements, such as diarrhea or constipation, difficulty defecating, frequent urination, and urinary incontinence. In addition to digestive tract cancers such as stomach and intestine cancers, malignant tumors in the bladder or kidney can also be mentioned. The New Women's Newspaper quoted the Aboluowang website as saying that according to the British Cancer Research Organization, abdominal pain is a symptom of bone marrow cancer that increases urination to eliminate excess calcium.

Cough

Cough is considered one of the main signs of lung cancer but this symptom can also be worse in the morning.

Doctors say that in lung cancer, the tumor can partially block the airway and accumulate mucus overnight, causing a cough that is worse in the morning.

While sleeping through the night, the mouth and upper airways can become dry, causing irritation, which can also cause a cough that is more severe in the early morning.

Although a morning cough does not necessarily mean lung cancer, it is important to see a doctor. Dr. Lee recommends seeing a doctor if the cough persists for three weeks.

See your doctor immediately if you have any worrying symptoms such as chest pain, coughing up blood, or difficulty breathing.
