4 areas of interest to voters and people, recommendations to the 15th session, 11th Provincial People's Council

In preparation for the 15th session of the 11th Provincial People's Council, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council to organize meetings with voters, thereby receiving and recording opinions, recommendations and reflections from voters and people.

Through the meetings, voters and people expressed their agreement and appreciation, although the situation was more difficult and challenging than expected. However, the Provincial Party Committee promptly led and directed socio-economic development, national defense and security, Party building and the political system... achieving important and comprehensive results in all fields, the economy was restored and developed, social security was ensured, people's lives were stable and gradually improved; People absolutely trust in the leadership of the Party and State. Voters and people acknowledged and highly appreciated the Provincial People's Committee for its drastic direction to departments, branches and local authorities to effectively implement the Resolutions and Conclusions of the Central Committee, Provincial Party Committee, and People's Council in the spirit of "Serving - accompanying businesses and people", accordingly, the socio-economic situation has changed positively and increased quite well in the context of many difficulties and challenges, GRDP growth increased by 9.40%, ranked 9th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide and 2nd out of 14 provinces in the North Central and Central Coast regions. Social security policies were fully and promptly implemented; care for policy beneficiaries and poor households was better implemented. Successfully organized the Ceremony to receive the UNESCO Certificate of Recognition of Cham Pottery Art in the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Need of Urgent Protection and the Ninh Thuan Grape - Wine Festival in 2023. Political security and social order and safety are stable; The work of practicing thrift and fighting waste is focused on to create trust among the people and society.

In 2023, the Vietnam Fatherland Front coordinated to organize over 210 meetings with voters ( National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies), with over 11,462 participants and 1,218 opinions and recommendations from voters and people; thereby, the Provincial People's Committee directed departments, branches and localities at all levels to consider and resolve responsibilities, promptly creating trust of voters and people with the Party and the State. At this session, voters and people continued to send to the session 4 areas of interest to voters, recommendations and proposed solutions.

Regarding the agricultural , farmer and rural areas, voters and people are still concerned about the high prices of input materials for agricultural production, fertilizers, gasoline, animal feed, and some products that have not been sold; there is still a situation where rural youth of working age do not have jobs and do not have a stable livelihood. Voters and people recommend that the Party and Government at all levels pay more attention to solving employment problems for rural areas and poor workers, focusing on solving employment problems for ethnic minority groups.

Regarding security, order and social safety - Voters and people acknowledged and highly appreciated the results in preventing, fighting and stopping crimes; promptly investigating and handling cases and law violations during the year. In addition, voters and people are also concerned about the complicated situation of traffic accidents, increasing in all 3 criteria and increasing child injuries. It is recommended that the authorities have feasible solutions to resolve this situation in the coming time.

In the field of health and people's health care, voters and people highly appreciate the Party, local authorities at all levels, and the health sector focusing on directing the implementation of improving the quality of medical examination and treatment and people's health care, strengthening preventive medicine, controlling infectious diseases, and preventing epidemics. Voters and people recommend that the Provincial People's Committee continue to direct functional agencies to strengthen truly strong and effective solutions to solve this problem, especially in the months near the Lunar New Year. Voters and people recommend that it is necessary to consider, adjust, and add more types of drugs to the health insurance list; when going for outpatient examination, one still has to apply for a referral to be entitled to benefits as prescribed, so it is recommended to consider and cancel the referral procedure to facilitate people to participate in medical examination and treatment.

Regarding the field of education and training, voters and people acknowledged the efforts and endeavors of the education sector in recent times; however, voters and people believe that there are still some issues that need to be addressed by the Education and Training Sector, such as: currently, facilities and equipment do not meet the requirements for building schools that meet national standards and organizing 2 sessions/day of teaching, experimental and practical activities as well as other educational activities according to the requirements of innovation; the scale of schools and classrooms is still inadequate, some schools still have cases of student overload; the teaching staff is not uniform, there are still local surpluses and shortages, and a number of new subjects according to the 2018 General Education Program are lacking; the self-study and self-improvement of some managers and teachers are not high, they have not boldly implemented solutions to innovate management and innovate educational methods; Organizing the teaching of Informatics at primary school level still faces many difficulties, the number of primary school students participating in learning Informatics is still low and does not meet the requirements because schools are not equipped with enough Informatics rooms to serve the training work; there are inadequacies in the use of many different types of textbooks in schools in the province.
