5 popular AI courses in Vietnam

(Dan Tri) - The report shows that Vietnamese people are increasingly proactive in seeking digital skills through online learning platforms.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is becoming an increasingly important part of the digital economy . With rapid changes in technology, many users in Vietnam are proactively looking for online learning platforms to supplement their knowledge, skills and update new trends.

According to data from online learning platform Coursera, in less than a year, more than 152,000 Vietnamese users have registered to study courses related to new generation artificial intelligence (Gen AI), equivalent to an average of one participant every four minutes.

The total number of learners in Vietnam on this platform has exceeded 1.8 million, with a growth rate of about 22% per year.

Below are the 5 courses with the highest number of registrations in Vietnam, and are considered to be accessible and suitable for the general student group.

1. Google – Basic Artificial Intelligence

This introductory course, developed by Google, introduces the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence, from how it works to its applications in life and work. The content does not require programming knowledge, making it suitable for beginners and non-tech groups.

2. Artificial intelligence creates life for everyone

Developed by DeepLearning.ai – an organization founded by Professor Andrew Ng, the course helps learners understand how generative AI models (such as ChatGPT, DALL·E) operate and are applied. The content focuses on cognition, application orientation and ethical-social issues, rather than programming techniques.

3. Introduction to Artificial Intelligence – IBM

Developed by IBM, the course combines basic theory with business application scenarios, such as customer care chatbots and user behavior analysis. Learners can receive an IBM certificate of completion, which is recognized by many organizations as proof of basic AI skills.

4. Techniques for writing commands for ChatGPT

Focuses on prompt building skills to effectively interact with large language models like ChatGPT. The course is aimed at general learners and office workers, considered one of the basic skills in today's AI-based work environment.

5. Google Cloud Infrastructure

Part of the Google Cloud Foundations training series, this course introduces how to deploy AI and machine learning models on the cloud. It is suitable for data engineers, AI technicians, or system administrators who are familiar with cloud-native infrastructure.
