In the first 9 months of the year, outstanding loans of the entire banking industry reached more than 108 trillion VND.

According to the State Bank's provincial branch, as of September 30, capital mobilization in the entire banking sector reached VND 94,922 billion, up 7.15% over the same period in 2023; total outstanding loans reached VND 108,034 billion, up 3.33% over the end of 2023. Of which, short-term outstanding loans reached VND 67,901 billion, up 6.24%; medium and long-term loans reached VND 40,133 billion, down 1.26%; bad debt was VND 873 billion, accounting for 0.81% of total outstanding loans.

Social security credit programs are being implemented with attention; outstanding loans reached VND 6,203 billion, up 3.1% compared to the end of 2023.
