9 months - Ninh Thuan tourism welcomes more than 3.2 million visitors

In the first 9 months of 2024, the total number of visitors and vacationers in Ninh Thuan province was more than 3.2 million, an increase of 20% over the same period, reaching 100.1% of the plan.

Of which, the number of guests staying and relaxing is estimated at 2.3 million, the number of visitors is estimated at 904,000; the number of international visitors is estimated at 87,000 (an increase of 193.9% over the same period, reaching 87% of the plan. Social income from tourism activities is estimated at 3,662 billion VND. Accommodation and tourism services in the province have been quite busy since the beginning of the year, especially during the holidays and Tet, with room occupancy rates reaching 90-100%.

State management of tourism service business continues to be promoted. Currently, the province has 213 tourist accommodation establishments, with 4,706 rooms. State management of tourism activities has been strengthened; regularly instructing and reminding tourist areas and spots in serving guests to ensure safety conditions, especially during holidays and Tet. Coordinate with the Tourism Association and travel businesses in the province to review and check information on tour guide cards, ensuring the use of tour guide cards in accordance with the law.
