Nghe An has achieved many achievements in socialized healthcare and urban development.

In the context of the slowing world economy and declining global trade; the domestic economy still faces many difficulties and challenges, Nghe An provincial agencies actively and drastically implement tasks and solutions according to the plan to ensure people's lives and socio-economic development.

Socialized healthcare

After a period of good epidemic control, the province has continued to improve the medical examination and treatment process, professional and technical processes associated with good implementation of hospital quality management to create favorable conditions for patients to come for examination and treatment. The socialization of non-public health care has achieved important results in terms of infrastructure, modern equipment, especially providing diverse and quality services.

The public sector has made many innovations in providing health services from socialization, the overload situation has been significantly improved, satisfying people with many choices of quality and convenient health services. The work of inspection, examination, and supervision of food hygiene and safety has been strengthened. The health insurance coverage rate reached 89.66%.

The work of universalizing education in the whole province has been well implemented. The rate of schools achieving national titles to date is 72.68%. Many students are national excellent students and have won prizes at Olympic competitions.

The quality of mass education has improved, reflected in the national high school exams.

Regarding employment, the province has created jobs for 30,738 workers, of which 9,809 were exported. It has well managed and paid regular preferential allowances to over 72,740 people with revolutionary contributions, with a payment of nearly 126 billion VND/month. The "Repaying gratitude" movement in the province continues to be widely socialized. It has well implemented social protection policies and regimes, regular assistance in the community and emergency relief.

Urban construction

The work of planning, construction management, urban, resource management and environmental protection has been strongly directed. The Provincial People's Committee has directed the rectification of planning and planning management, inspection and supervision of construction according to approved plans, especially for housing development projects and high-rise apartments. Continue to inspect and review land planning and mineral planning; focus on directing the District People's Committee in granting Certificates to people. Implement promptly and in accordance with legal regulations on assessing needs, conditions, land lease, granting certificates in the province; determining land prices, appraisal, licensing in the fields of land, minerals, water resources, environment...

The province has also made many strides in administrative reform, bringing convenience to people and businesses. Discipline and administrative order continue to be strengthened and have many positive changes. The application of information technology in management, direction, operation and public service implementation has been of interest to all levels and sectors.

Regarding national defense and security, the armed forces regularly patrol and control, synchronously implement measures to combat, prevent and proactively handle situations to avoid being caught off guard. Proactively prevent, combat, stop and neutralize the activities of reactionary and opposing elements and advise and coordinate to effectively resolve incidents arising related to religion, disputes and lawsuits among the people.

Strengthen the fight against and suppress all types of crimes, the rate of investigation and clarification of criminal cases reached over 88%; many major criminal and drug cases were solved. Implement well the work of building forces and logistics, especially resolutely deploying the arrangement of regular police officers to take on the position of commune police. Implement well the work of inspection, receiving citizens, resolving petitions and complaints of the people, reaching a rate of 90%.
