Egypt and Saudi Arabia share the same views on the current tensions in the region and the urgent need for a ceasefire to prevent the conflict from spreading in the region.

On October 29, Ahram Online reported, Speaking at the opening session of the 8th Future Investment Initiative (FII8) Conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly stated that the two countries play an important role as the main pillars of security and stability in the Middle East region, especially in the current context of many uncertainties.

According to him, Egypt and Saudi Arabia share the same views on the current tensions in the region as well as the urgent need for a ceasefire to prevent conflict from spreading in the region.

Noting that the security of the Gulf states is integral to Egypt's security, Prime Minister Madbouly stressed that achieving security and stability, as well as creating a favorable environment for economic development and prosperity both in the Middle East and globally, depends on establishing a comprehensive and just peace in the region.

This includes the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with internationally recognized resolutions.

The FII8 Conference, taking place from October 29-31, with the theme “Infinite Horizons: Investing Today, Shaping the Future”, brings together global leaders, entrepreneurs, politicians as well as decision-makers in areas such as finance, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, energy, geoeconomics and space.

The conference aims to promote discussions on investment measures that can foster a prosperous and sustainable future, expanding possibilities for humanity.
