Leaders of the Vietnam Ao Dai Culture Association, experts, researchers, more than 100 members of the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club - Ho Chi Minh City and people interested in Ao Dai heritage attended the Discussion.

On the morning of September 19, 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club - Ho Chi Minh City (under the Vietnam Ao Dai Culture Association) held a discussion with the theme "Vietnam Ao Dai - Eternal Heritage".

The program is not only a meeting place for ao dai lovers but also opens up many touching stories associated with heritage, and at the same time raises the question: how can ao dai continue to be present and continue to inspire in today's busy life.

The seminar was attended by Dr. Dang Thi Bich Lien - former Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, President of the Vietnam Ao Dai Culture Association; Vice Presidents of the Association: Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam, Ms. Khuc Thi Dau along with many experts, researchers and more than 100 members of the Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club - Ho Chi Minh City.

In a warm exchange space, each memory and story was shared as an affirmation: Ao Dai is not only a costume, but also a living heritage, pride and national identity.

Director Nguyen Xuan Phuong and Dr. Ly Thi Mai – Vice President of the Vietnam Costume Research Institute – bring multi-dimensional perspectives, from research to practice, from tradition to modernity.

Their emotional stories suggest how today's young generation can continue the journey of preserving and honoring the timeless value of the ao dai.

Speaking at the seminar, Ms. Phung Thi Thu Thuy - President of the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Ao Dai Heritage Club, Vice President of the Vietnam Ao Dai Culture Association - emphasized: Ao Dai has blended with the flow of Vietnamese culture, becoming a costume containing the soul and pride of the nation. According to her, this seminar brings to the public a new perspective on the cultural value - heritage of Ao Dai in contemporary life.

From fond memories to future orientations, the discussion “Vietnamese Ao Dai - Eternal Heritage” has contributed to deepening the community’s affection, knowledge and attachment to the Ao Dai. It is not only the story of a single generation, but also a common aspiration: to keep the Ao Dai forever intact in the minds of Vietnamese people, continuing to spread the love of heritage to future generations.
