In particular, new research results on prehistoric people were determined to be over 12,000 years old, along with many scientific evidences on the morphology, genetics and life of post-Pleistocene residents at Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex.

During the process of research and archaeological exploration at Thung Binh 1 cave in Trang An Scenic Complex, important results were achieved: Discovery of prehistoric human remains dating back over 12,000 years, along with data on chronology, stratigraphy, ancient flora and fauna, and burial methods of prehistoric people.

Mr. Tran Song Tung emphasized: The research results have confirmed that Trang An is a "living museum" of natural evolution and human culture, a rare scientific evidence that sheds light on the process of human habitation and adaptation to environmental change, while also providing valuable data on anthropology - genetics and the presence of globally endangered animal species that once lived here.
