Grasping the grassroots, serving the people better

After operating the two-level local government, many Party committees and commune-level authorities in the province have promoted their proactive role in grasping the situation at the grassroots level, promptly removing difficulties, and ensuring effective service to people and businesses.

With the spirit of proactively listening and promptly grasping ideological developments from the grassroots, the leaders of Buon Ho ward organized delegations to visit and meet with representatives of religious establishments located in the locality to listen to opinions, grasp the thoughts, feelings and aspirations of religious establishments after changes in administrative boundaries or organizational structure due to mergers.

Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Buon Ho Ward Nguyen Ngoc Hung said that there are currently 10 religious establishments in the ward, including 4 large parishes. Meeting with representatives of religious establishments not only helps to increase understanding, build trust and consolidate the great national unity but also listens in time to have timely support measures, resolve arising problems, contributing to the economic , cultural and social development of the country.

Along with that, the local government has organized meetings with village and hamlet officials to grasp the concerns and difficulties related to projects and works being implemented in the area to have timely solutions. Recently, the Ward Party Committee has organized meetings and dialogues with businesses and production and business establishments operating in the ward to inform about the operation situation and implementation results of the two-level local government; at the same time, for representatives of businesses to share difficulties and problems as well as to propose and recommend to contribute to perfecting policies and mechanisms to support businesses.

The ward People's Council delegates also organized meetings with voters to listen to people's opinions and recommendations on the use of headquarters and facilities after the merger to avoid waste; investment in upgrading traffic infrastructure, solidifying damaged canals; payment of compensation for site clearance; planning issues for residential areas, hospital areas; environmental pollution... Thereby, local leaders promptly answered and informed people to understand as well as synthesize reports to competent authorities for consideration and resolution.

In Cu Bao ward, in addition to meetings, visits to religious establishments, and contact with voters, the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee also organized delegations to each village and hamlet to meet with Party cells, listen to the situation of activities, difficulties and obstacles in the process of implementing political tasks and recommendations and proposals...

Proactively grasping the situation at the grassroots level has contributed to building a strong relationship between the people and Party organizations and the government, creating a stable foundation for long-term development.

In particular, many incidents related to difficulties in implementing administrative procedures after the merger, environmental pollution, implementation of policies and regimes... have been promptly resolved. Thereby contributing to improving the effectiveness of leadership, direction and effective implementation of local political tasks in the coming time”.

Not only Buon Ho ward and Cu Bao ward, in recent times, the Party committees and authorities at the commune level in the province have focused on innovating leadership and management methods, promoting the role of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations, implementing the grassroots democracy regulations well; directing the Front and socio-political organizations to organize propaganda to all classes of people, union members and association members to promptly grasp the Party's viewpoints and policies on the arrangement of administrative units at all levels and building a two-level local government organization model. Party committee and authority leaders also regularly go to the grassroots to grasp the aspirations of cadres, party members and people with a spirit of initiative, creativity, flexibility, high responsibility and closer to the people.

It can be said that proactively grasping the situation at the grassroots level, clearly assigning tasks to people, and assigning specific responsibilities to each cadre and party member has built a strong relationship between the people and the Party organization and government, creating a stable foundation for long-term development.
