In recent times, the work of propaganda and education on traffic order and safety, patrolling, controlling and handling violations has been vigorously deployed by the district police force in accordance with the direction of the Provincial Police "clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities, clear completion time"; 548 patrols and controls were organized with the participation of 2,470 officers and soldiers; 618 violations were detected, 252 vehicles were detained, and 127 driving licenses were revoked... From December 15, 2023 to June 15, 2024, in Muong Khuong district, 8 traffic accidents occurred, killing 3 people, injuring 7 people, and causing property damage of 42 million VND.

Infrastructure maintenance and repair work is carried out promptly to ensure people's safe travel. The district has 114 rural traffic bridges and underground works with a total length of over 1,300 m; 120 signs have been installed.
