Issuing guidelines for health education communication in schools

The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued the document "Guidelines for health education communication for administrators, teachers, and school health workers in preschool and general education institutions", used for training and fostering on health education communication in educational institutions.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, health education communication plays an important role in protecting and improving students' health during their time of being raised and studying at school. However, currently, the guidance on how to organize health education communication activities in preschool and general education institutions is not yet consistent and unified.

Therefore, the purpose of the document is to guide, foster, provide knowledge and skills, methods for organizing and implementing health education communication activities in schools, providing educational managers, teachers and school health staff with general information on school health, some regulations on school health and forms on student health management. From here, schools develop plans to organize and implement specific health education communication work, suitable to actual conditions.

The document includes the following sections: Overview of school health and the importance of education, care, protection, and improvement of student health; Overview and importance of health education communication in schools; Forms of health education communication in schools; Health behavior and factors affecting the process of changing individual behavior; Planning to implement health education communication activities in schools.
