There are many types of cakes such as green bean durian, green tea red bean, lotus egg, taro egg, coconut milk, tiramisu, lava...

Customers who buy in bulk also get discounts. Specifically, when buying 4 GO! mooncakes, they get a 20,000 VND discount, and when buying 6 mooncakes, they get a 30,000 VND discount. The store offers a 15% discount for mooncake orders worth 1 million VND or more.

Traditional handmade mooncakes at affordable prices are also launched by the Co.op Mart supermarket chain on this occasion. The cakes cost from 50,900 VND/piece, weigh 150g with many attractive fillings such as mixed salted egg, taro salted egg...

A representative of Saigon Co.op said that this year the company increased the production of moon cakes by 30% compared to last year, in which the affordable price accounts for a large proportion. Meanwhile, bakery businesses have also launched many affordable mooncake products to compete. According to a representative of Orion Vietnam, the economy in 2024 will still face many difficulties. Therefore, this brand has launched "sincere mooncakes" to the market, focusing on prices that are affordable for consumers.

Accordingly, this business is determined to keep prices stable. Each type of cake costs between 60,000 and 77,000 VND/piece with about 10 flavors from salty to vegetarian for customers to choose from.

Tho Phat brand first entered the mooncake market with affordable prices, starting from only 50,000 VND/piece. Bibica also offers mooncakes priced from 50,000 - 70,000 VND/piece; Kinh Do Mondelez mooncakes are also priced at around 60,000 - 80,000 VND/piece.

According to the representative of the Givral cake brand, although purchasing power has decreased due to economic difficulties, the cake consumption situation is expected to be more positive, including maintaining product prices. This year, Givral launched the first durian coconut cake to bring a new flavor to customers.

“Maintaining reasonable prices helps many families enjoy delicious cakes without worrying too much about the cost,” shared a Givral representative.
