DNO - The Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has just issued a document requesting agencies, organizations and enterprises to strengthen the implementation of network information security for information systems under their management during the April 30 and May 1 holidays.

Accordingly, agencies, organizations and enterprises need to consolidate and prioritize resources and human resources for the task of being on duty and monitoring information security, focusing on anti-malware systems; checking and fully updating information security patches for the system; reviewing, testing, evaluating and fixing security vulnerabilities; removing malware in the network system; regularly monitoring, receiving and handling information security warnings through the national network information security incident handling coordination platform.
For enterprises providing telecommunications and online network services and units and organizations providing digital infrastructure and digital platforms, it is necessary to strengthen and assign human resources to monitor, support and troubleshoot to ensure telecommunications infrastructure and network connections are safe and smooth; review and fully deploy protection measures, ensure early detection and timely prevention of cyber attacks, dissemination of malicious information, and violations of the law; strengthen monitoring, updating, and handling of users' feedback and complaints about spam and fraudulent messages and calls.
