The 500kV line 3 circuit project from Quang Trach, Quang Binh to Pho Noi, Hung Yen has started construction of many wire laying and pulling packages 1 week earlier than planned.
Package No. 37 includes 6 corridor anchorages, belonging to the 500kV line project, circuit 3, section Nam Dinh 1 - Thanh Hoa. As soon as all materials and equipment were gathered, the contractor simultaneously deployed the wire laying and pulling work to take advantage of favorable weather.
The wire laying work in many packages of the 500kV line 3 project has been pushed ahead of schedule by 1 week. This ensures that the wire laying work for the entire project will be completed before June 15 this year.
The investor said that the entire project has 503 anchorages and corridors, 80% of which have been handed over by the localities, and according to the commitment, this work will be completed in 3 days. However, to speed up the project progress, the work of laying and pulling wires has been deployed as soon as the pole erection work is completed.
Mr. Trinh Van Thuy - Deputy Director of Thang Long Industrial Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company said: "The contractor will focus all resources, human resources, machinery and equipment to erect the poles and pull the wires. The contractor is expected to complete the wire pulling work in 7 days."
Mr. Luu Viet Tien - Deputy General Director of the National Power Transmission Corporation shared: "Currently, on the entire Nam Dinh 1 - Thanh Hoa line, 176 foundation positions have been completed and 157 poles have been erected. With the localities and people where the line passes through having basically handed over the corridors, we have pushed the wire pulling up 1 week earlier to ensure compliance with the Prime Minister's direction to energize this line by the end of June."
According to the plan, the 500kV transmission line circuit 3 from Quang Trach, Quang Binh to Pho Noi, Hung Yen will be completed and energized before June 30, ensuring the transmission of over 20 billion kWh of electricity per year, meeting additional electricity demand to serve economic development in the North.
