On the occasion of April 30 this year, Ho Chi Minh City organized 5 locations for fireworks displays. Of which, the high-altitude display took place at the beginning of the Saigon River tunnel (Thu Thiem ward, Thu Duc city), with 1,500 high-altitude fireworks, 30 low-altitude fireworks and 10 pyrotechnic displays.
4 low-altitude shooting locations include: Thao Dien Villa Area (Thao Dien Ward, Thu Duc City) - shooting on barges; Van Phuc Urban Area (Hiep Binh Phuoc Ward, Thu Duc City); Lot N4-D6 Tay Bac Industrial Park (Tan An Hoi Commune, Cu Chi District); Dam Sen Cultural Park (Ward 3, District 11). Fireworks will take place from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on April 30, 2024.

The Youth Union and the Youth Union of Co Giang Ward also helped people paint and decorate stalls, food and beverage carts to attract customers, and create a unique business brand for households.
Arrest of a series of especially dangerous wanted criminals
On April 26, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department of Staff said that the unit had arrested, persuaded, and received the surrender of 11 wanted criminals in the first four months of 2024.

After receiving complaints from the people about 2 videos recording child abuse at Ti Bo kindergarten, the People's Committee of Linh Dong Ward (Thu Duc City) worked with this facility. During the meeting, the People's Committee of the ward determined that Ms. LTBN, the owner of this kindergarten, was the one who abused the children, at noon on April 11.

According to this person, the abused children were NTC (born in 2019) and TMH (born in 2018). Because C. refused to eat, cried, and covered her mouth, Ms. N. sat on top of her and forced her to eat tangerines, causing her to panic and cry a lot. As for H., she was playing and broke her toy, so Ms. N. used a red plastic brick (a toy in the classroom) to hit her on the head and slapped her in the face, causing her to panic and cry a lot.

On April 23, the Ho Chi Minh City Urban Infrastructure Construction Investment Project Management Board (investor) had a working session with representatives of Thuan An Group Joint Stock Company (referred to as Thuan An Group) and the consulting supervision consortium related to two bidding packages XL5 and XL6 of the project to build infrastructure and improve the environment of Tham Luong - Ben Cat - Nuoc Len canal.
In case after April 30, the investor inspects the construction site but does not see that the contractor, Thuan An Group Joint Stock Company, has a plan to implement the related contents that this unit has committed to, the investor will consider suspending and terminating the contract by the contracting party.
Rare Indian peacock perched on a private balcony
On April 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Forest Protection Department received a peacock and brought it to the animal rescue station for care. This is the first time the unit has received this bird species. After reading about Mr. Son's situation, Ms. P. (living in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) and her friends raised more than 80 million VND. Ms. P. went to his accommodation to give him the money and took him to buy a new car worth 60 million VND. He used the remaining 20 million VND to cover the compensation for the lost goods.
