On the evening of September 1, Ca Mau residents will enjoy brilliant fireworks displays at two central squares, including Phan Ngoc Hien Square, which has just been completed, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2.

On August 27, news from the Office of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province said that the province will organize fireworks displays at 9:30 p.m. on September 1 at two locations: Phan Ngoc Hien Square (An Xuyen Ward) and Hung Vuong Square ( Bac Lieu Ward). This is an activity to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2.

According to local leaders, Phan Ngoc Hien Square is expected to become a space for activities, entertainment, and large-scale events, contributing to changing the appearance of the provincial urban center.
