Election of two additional Vice Chairmen of Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee

On the afternoon of September 24, the People's Council of Quang Ngai province, term XIII, 2021 - 2026, held the 4th session (special session) to discuss and pass resolutions on socio-economic development. The Provincial People's Council carried out the personnel work within its authority, which was to elect two additional Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee for the term 2021 - 2026.

At the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province Nguyen Hoang Giang approved the Proposal on the election of additional Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province for the 2021 - 2026 term for Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoang (Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Ba Gia commune) and Mr. Do Tam Hien (Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of Khanh Cuong commune). With 67/67 delegates present voting in agreement (100%), Mr. Do Tam Hien and Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoang were elected to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ngai province.
Mr. Nguyen Cong Hoang was born in 1978; hometown: Dong Son commune, Quang Ngai province; qualifications: Master of Economic Management; Senior in Political Theory - Administration. He has held the following positions: Director of Quang Ngai Department of Construction; Secretary of Son Tinh district (old).

Mr. Do Tam Hien was born in 1981; hometown: An Phu commune, Quang Ngai province; qualifications: Master of Engineering; Senior in Political Theory - Administration. He has held the following positions: Director of the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Traffic Works in Quang Ngai province; Secretary of Duc Pho Town Party Committee (formerly).

At the meeting, delegates discussed and unanimously passed many important resolutions such as: Adjusting the medium-term public investment plan for the period 2021 - 2025 and the capital plan for 2025 from the local budget; Supplementing the list of works and projects for land acquisition in 2025 in Quang Ngai province; Policy on converting forest use purposes to other purposes to implement the Dung Quat - Sa Huynh coastal road project, phase IIb, section Km 76+230 - Km 82+000; Regulations on the level of support for overcoming animal diseases in the province.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Tuy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Ngai province, proposed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council coordinate with the Provincial People's Committee to complete relevant procedures and submit to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval of the results of the election of the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term in accordance with the provisions of law. The Provincial People's Committee needs to urgently direct the implementation so that the resolutions can truly come into life; strengthen propaganda and information so that all levels, sectors and people can join hands and unanimously implement them to achieve the highest results and efficiency. In addition, the Provincial People's Committee continues to review and properly resolve the legitimate recommendations of voters and people, serving the activities of meeting voters before the regular meeting at the end of 2025.
