(Dan Tri) - Violating Circular 29, a cultural training center in Ho Chi Minh City stopped operating and returned children and students to their families.
On February 17, the inspection team of the People's Committee of Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City suddenly inspected tutoring facilities in the area.
At Trang Nguyen Cultural Training Center, the inspection team recorded many primary school-age students studying on the ground floor.
Except for a few students practicing writing, the majority of students are learning Vietnamese, with the teacher's guidance.

Working with the inspection team, the representative of the Trang Nguyen Cultural Training Center presented a business registration certificate and a fire prevention and fighting plan approved by the authorities.
This center organized lunch for some students but could not present documents related to food safety.
According to the leader of the People's Committee of Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, teaching extra classes for primary school students is a violation of Circular 29 on extra teaching and learning of the Ministry of Education and Training .
Based on the recorded facts, the inspection team unanimously agreed to request the center to stop operating from February 17, return all children and students studying at the center to their families, and remove the center's advertising signs in front of the door.
It is known that previously in mid-November 2024, this center was proposed to close due to not having a license.
According to information from the People's Committee of Binh Hung Hoa Ward, the inspection team, including representatives of the People's Committee, the Ward Police and related officers and civil servants of the ward, will continuously conduct regular and surprise inspections of extra-curricular teaching and learning activities in the area from now until the end of 2025.
Circular 29 of the Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that no extra classes are organized for primary school students, except in the following cases: training in arts, physical education, and life skills training.
