Secretary of the Central Youth Union visited and presented Mid-Autumn gifts to children in Nu Village

On the afternoon of September 24, a working delegation led by comrade Nguyen Pham Duy Trang - Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Council of Young Pioneers visited and presented Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children in Lang Nu village, Phuc Khanh commune, Lao Cai province.

Also attending were comrade Ha Duc Hai - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lao Cai province, Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Youth Union; comrade Hoang Manh Linh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; comrade Duong Thi Vui - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Youth Union Council.

The delegation attended the program "Full Moon Festival - Lanterns light up dreams", with the children happily dancing, singing, and carrying star lanterns in a bustling, warm atmosphere.

Giving gifts to students in Lang Nu village.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Council of the Young Pioneers presented a Children's Bookcase worth 50 million VND, 500 cartons of milk, and 100 gifts to children in Lao Cai province; presented 48 cartons of milk and 48 gifts to students of the Kindergarten and 2nd grade students of Lang Nu school; presented 104 backpacks to students of Phuc Khanh commune; and presented 10 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to students in difficult circumstances in Lang Nu.

Speaking at the program, comrade Nguyen Pham Duy Trang shared the difficulties and losses that the children of Lang Nu village had to endure after the historic flood in September 2024, which left 67 people dead and missing, many of whom were orphaned. He wished the children of Lao Cai province a warm and loving Mid-Autumn Festival; affirming that the Youth Union and Young Pioneers will continue to accompany and create an environment for learning, playing and training for the children to develop comprehensively.

The Secretary of the Central Youth Union and Chairman of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers hopes that the children will be good-natured, study well, live compassionately and in solidarity, so that from the remote border areas, their dreams can fly high, contributing to building a rich, beautiful and civilized country.
