Inauguration of Phu Tho Secondary School to welcome the An Giang Provincial Party Congress

On the morning of September 27, at Phu An commune, the People's Committee of An Giang province held the inauguration ceremony of Phu Tho Secondary School, welcoming the 1st An Giang Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

The Phu Tho Secondary School construction investment project was approved by the People's Committee of An Giang province with a total investment of more than 72.4 billion VND. The investment scale includes classrooms, administrative offices, functional rooms, libraries, auxiliary works, technical infrastructure and equipment.

The project is designed with modern architecture, meeting national standards, meeting the needs of teaching and learning. The new school not only meets the increasing learning needs of children in the area but is also an important highlight in the strategy of developing school facilities, completing the network of educational and training facilities of the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy emphasized that the spacious and modern school today is the result of the close leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, local Party committees and authorities towards the cause of education and training in general and the Phu Tho Secondary School project in particular.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Thuy suggested that after the inauguration ceremony, the education and training sector continue to pay attention to arranging and training staff and teachers to ensure professional qualifications and improve the quality of teaching and learning.

The school board actively promotes the spirit of innovation and creativity in management and teaching; builds a friendly learning environment and active students. Teachers continue to set an example of morality and innovate teaching methods; students strive to practice and study to become good children and good students. On this occasion, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Giang Province Tran Thi Thanh Huong presented 20 scholarships to students with good academic performance, each worth 1 million VND.

Representatives of the investor, contractor, designer and supervisor presented a symbolic plaque to donate 35 health insurance cards.

Units participating in the construction of Phu Tho Secondary School donated 35 health insurance cards, each worth 632,000 VND, to students in difficult circumstances.
