Did I do anything wrong? Who are you asking to be responsible for her suicide? Lim Ji Hye did it because she could not control her anger."

Regarding not paying Lim Ji Hye the full salary as promised, Gam Seong Yeoul also explained: "We agreed that anyone who cries during the livestream will be fined 300,000 won (5.5 million VND). But she kept crying and the atmosphere went down, so I told her to turn to the wall and cry. It was Lim Ji Hye who yelled at me first."

The colleague added: "It's unfortunate and regrettable that this happened right after our livestream. But why should she be the center of attention in every broadcast? In fact, a few of us gathered together to earn income, attracting about 2,000-3,000 live viewers... I'm not sorry."

She also worked for Road Fighting Championship – a Korean mixed martial arts tournament, which started in 2010 – as a ring girl. She got married in 2014 but divorced shortly after. She is a single mother of two daughters.

Lim Ji Hye made an extreme choice after livestreaming on the evening of June 11. After the incident, the model was taken to the emergency room by her family in critical condition. On the morning of June 12, a friend informed her that Lim Ji Hye had suffered two cardiac arrests, and the doctor's prognosis was poor. On June 19, she passed away. The model's funeral will take place on June 21.
