On the evening of September 4, to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs and the people, and to the units that helped produce the feature film Red Rain , the Army Film Studio screened the film at Quang Tri Citadel (Quang Tri ward, Quang Tri province), which is the main setting of the film.
To prepare for the screening, a large LED screen was set up in front of the central courtyard of Quang Tri Citadel, and more than 1,000 plastic chairs were also arranged.
The first row of seats was solemnly arranged with military backpacks and white chrysanthemums. This row of seats symbolized the heroic martyrs who fell on this land.
Since late afternoon, the flow of people to Quang Tri Citadel has been increasing. Among them are many veterans, the elderly…

Due to the number of viewers far exceeding the organizers’ expectations, many people had to stand and sit around the screening area to watch the film. However, everyone was still very attentive, not bothered by the lack of seats.
In addition, on September 5, there will be two screenings for local officials, military units that collaborated on the film and people in the areas chosen as the setting, in the area along the Thach Han River in Quang Tri ward and Trieu Phong commune.
Another screening took place on the evening of September 5 in Dong Hoi Ward, for leaders and officials of provincial departments. This is a film recreating the fierce fighting years at Quang Tri Citadel in 1972, with a duration of 124 minutes.
The film Red Rain was elaborately produced to honor the indomitable fighting spirit of the army and people of Quang Tri, and at the same time express deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who fell for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
The film was mostly shot in Quang Tri province. The crew recreated the Quang Tri Citadel on the Thach Han River. Many Quang Tri people were also invited to be extras in the film.
