Sam Son beach is deserted on the first day of September 2nd holiday

This year's September 2nd holiday lasts 4 days. Despite the hot weather, the Sam Son beach resort in Thanh Hoa province had few visitors on the first day, quite different from the first day of the April 30th and May 1st holidays (right photo).

According to information from the Department of Culture and Information of Sam Son city, the number of visitors on the first day of the holiday was not large. The whole city has more than 700 accommodation establishments with 15,000 rooms but the number of booked guests only accounts for 10-15%.

“On the first day of the holiday, Sam Son had few visitors. Maybe tomorrow (September 1) there will be more visitors,” said a representative of the Department of Culture and Information of Sam Son city.

At the center of beach B, tourists can comfortably swim because the number of people coming on the first day of the holiday is less than every year.

Shops selling drinks and toys along the beach are sparsely populated.

Because there were few people swimming on the beach, two children and their mother were able to play comfortably in the sea to cool off.

No longer crowded like summer days, on the first day of the September 2nd holiday, Ho Xuan Huong Street was deserted with people and vehicles. Many electric cars were even tired of looking for passengers.

Ms. Tuyet – the electric car driver – said that this was only the first day of the holiday, so people were probably going home to visit their families, so the number of passengers was not large. “It is very likely that tomorrow (September 1) will be much more crowded,” Ms. Tuyet said.

In the late afternoon, the number of visitors to the beach increased somewhat, but there was no jostling or crowding.
