After nearly a decade of waiting, Saigon - Ke Ga - Phan Thiet "has gone far and is now near" thanks to the traffic opening event on April 30, opening a new era for Binh Thuan with a national and international position.

Accordingly, the opening of the Dau Giay - Phan Thiet expressway has shortened the driving distance from 3.5 hours to 2 hours, equivalent to the distance from Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau City.

In recent years, due to its proximity to Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau has dominated the domestic tourism market, averaging more than 16 million arrivals per year. However, when the time is shortened to the same level as Vung Tau, it is understandable that Binh Thuan "shares the burden" with Vung Tau to surpass Vung Tau to become the leading destination in the country.
